Help Transport us ...
Our Forever homes and new life are waiting....
Hello everyone, as promised we have an update!
We had our call last night and it was decided to do a slow open. This will mean working only with our rescues that have been approved due to home checks. We will be looking into ways to do our due-diligence with home checks with mandates still in place.
As always, the safety of our Volunteers and animals must come first.
With that in mind KHTC will take all precautions we can to keep all our volunteers safe at this time.
We are asking Volunteers to:
•self-monitor for symptoms of COVID-19, including temperature monitoring at home before driving.
•face masks must be worn at handoff, (please do not wear them while driving). While we know some do not agree with this, we are trying to take everyone into consideration and we want All Volunteers to feel safe, so this is a Mandatory rule.
•Carry Sanitizer Hand (at least 60% alcohol) should be available, though handwashing is preferred, Bleach/Disinfecting wipes with you on transport. Have rubber gloves for gas fill up if needed. Be sure to take them off before you touch the door handle and throw away in trash can.
•Avoid Shaking hands, hugs, and close contact as much as possible.
•If possible, bring your own lash and slip lead
•Try not to go through item’s sent as much as possible the OVN can check to be sure all items are sent that is needed for the animal’s care.
Thank you for all you do for KHTC and sticking with us through this difficult time, and for all you have done for the love of animals.

SUPPORT KINDRED HEARTS
Hi Folks, it is time for our Spring $1.00 challenge..
Spring has Sprung!
The snow is melting, the birds are chirping and the days are longer. Spring is finally upon us, and after a long, long winter, we couldn't be happier. Spring has finally sprung!
In spring, new things come to life. It also means KHTC volunteers will be on the road even more transporting all of those furbabies in need to their forever homes or just to a safe place and a NEW LIFE!
Can you spare a $1 for our gas/Vet/boarding fund? It will help us to fulfill those hopes and possibilities of a forever home to so many precious animals.
Thank you... and always remember...Without YOU... what we do would not be possible!
